After almost three weeks of searching, divers recovered the body of the 13th and final victim from the 35W bridge collapse, in Minneapolis.
Divers recovered the body of the final victim at 6:15 p.m., Monday.
The man was one of 18 construction workers on the bridge when it collapsed during rush hour traffic on August 1. He was the only person reported missing that was unaccounted for until tonight.
The Department of Transportation is now working to clear the rest of the debris from the Mississippi River. The security around the site will now lessen. Navy divers brought in to help with the recovery effort will remain for two days to pack up while being available if needed.
